Wolves Come up Short of Playoffs Wednesday, September 30th , 2054 The 2054 Madison Wolves season won't end with a trip to the postseason. The club has fallen short on its bid to make the playoffs, being formally eliminated from qualifying today. "Disappointing," team owner Ahmed bin Mohammed told reporters. The Wolves have made the playoffs 22 times in their 60 years as a Brewster Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 5th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2049. In the last 10 seasons, the Wolves have only made the playoffs once. Madison last won the Monty Brewster Memorial Series in 2009. |
