Spuds, Cyclones Agree to Deal Sunday, August 25th , 2047 Boise and Omaha announced today in a joint press conference that 27-year old RHP Fernando Guerrero will be going to the Cyclones in exchange for 20-year old minor league RHP Cecil Williams. "It'll be exciting to join a new organization," one player said. "Some of us could use a fresh start." The players have each passed physicals and are expected to report by day's end. So far this season, in 56 relief appearances Guerrero has compiled an ERA of 4.19. He has pitched 58 innings, struck out 54, walked 7 and registered no saves. |
