Bad News for Gutiérrez and Charlotte Wednesday, August 14th , 2047 The Charlotte Cougars announced today that Rafael Gutiérrez would be missing for longer than expected as the 28-year-old third baseman recovers from a knee sprain. "Rafael had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Cougars GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Gutiérrez would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 3 weeks more recovery time." For the year Gutiérrez is batting .310 with 2 home runs. |
