 | Rehab Road Tough For Gamblers Don Pérez Wednesday, August 29th, 2046 Don Pérez is hurting again, just a few days into his treatment for a fractured rib. Apparently the injury worsened, so the Gamblers sent the 25-year-old second baseman back to the doctors for reexamination. Pérez told them that the pain had gotten much worse in recent days. It was confirmed that the injury was indeed much more severe that first thought. He was sent to a specialist, who felt that treatment would be longer than first diagnosed. Pérez will now miss a minimum of 6-7 weeks. Don Pérez is expected to undergo surgery in Atlantic City(New Jersey) tomorrow. This year Pérez is hitting .279 with 10 home runs. |   |
