 | Setback For Hurricanes and Omer Dijkstra Friday, August 10th, 2046 A bit of bad luck has fallen on the Jacksonville Hurricanes today as they learned that center fielder Omer Dijkstra had suffered a setback in his recovery from back tightness and will miss more time than expected. The team's doctors had been optimistic about the player's return date, but have now rescinded the original date. The initial guess at how much more time he'll miss is one week. Dijkstra is batting .318 this season in 107 games with 17 home runs, 70 RBIs and 52 runs scored. He has 139 hits in 437 at-bats. |   |
