The Charlotte Cougars announced today that Ashton Brooks would be missing for longer than expected as the 25-year-old starting pitcher recovers from a torn flexor tendon in his elbow. "Ashton had been working out with the team recently, but felt some discomfort yesterday," the Cougars GM explained to the press. "After re-examining the injury, the team's medical staff decided that Brooks would need extra time to heal. Their estimate is 6 days more recovery time." |   |
