 | Hit Streak Now at 20 for Fitas Monday, May 28th, 2046 Valentin Fitas extended his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games today in the San Antonio 10-8 triumph over the Jacksonville Hurricanes. The 26-year-old Outlaws left fielder collected 5 hits in 6 at-bats. "Of course it's going to end," he said. "I'm just enjoying it until then." Valentin Fitas doubled in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, singled in the 8th and hit a three-run double in the 9th. Thus far this year Fitas has hit .355 with 6 home runs and 30 RBIs. |   |
