 | Cougars Send Brisset to Valencia Tuesday, July 21st, 2043 Several Cougars and Stars players soon will have to start shopping for a new home. It was announced today that the two teams came to agreement on a trade. Charlotte will get 26-year-old LF Ramón Pagán and Valencia will pick up 23-year-old CF Frédérick Brisset, 20-year-old LHP Kandy Soufax and 16-year-old 1B Mun-wah Hsu in return. "I'm not surprised by the news," one of the players told reporters, "It's part of the business and I understand that. I am looking forward to playing for the Cougars." Thus far this year Pagán is hitting .253 with 24 home runs, 51 RBIs and 60 runs scored. |   |
