Led by Du Wu, the Omaha Cyclones defeated the Hawaii Tropics, 11-8. Wu was 3 for 5 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Cyclones. With the victory, the Cyclones upped their record to 36-26.

Omaha used the clutch hitting of Logan Niles to capture the win. The second baseman drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Cyclones ahead, 11-8. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a big one.

"When this team comes together and plays the way we can, we can compete with anyone," said Niles. "I think we're going to keep proving that."
