Vancouver Keeps Trending in Wrong Direction
|
The San Fernando Bears got a strong performance from pitcher Alexander Swanson. Mr. Clean stymied the Vancouver offense en route to a solid, 7-1 win at Chico's Bail Bonds Field. Vancouver, at 2-16, is off to a dreadful start in 2061.
The Bears took the lead, 5-0, in the bottom of the second inning. Facing Vancouver hurler Rodney Keeley with one out, Niaz Minhas hit a 2-run single.
"Alexander pitched his heart out," said San Fernando manager Gonzalo Escobar.
