Flyers Take Down Pikemen, 9-6
The Charlotte Flyers topped the Rockville Pikemen by the score of 9-6, with the biggest share of the credit going to right fielder Fuad Demirel. Demirel went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 5 for the Flyers on the day. Charlotte reliever Jim Thompson picked up the win to move to 2-4. David Wade suffered the loss. Charlotte bumps their record to 65-56 with the win.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With one out, Demirel hit a fastball from David Wade for a 3-run home run. The Flyers, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.
