Boise Bats Go Silent in 5-0 Loss
|
Ken Arroyo pitched a gem to lead Brooklyn to victory over the Boise Spuds, 5-0. The win gives the Robins a record of 22-58.
Joe Bailey made an early impact for Brooklyn when he stroked his 2nd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came with two out in the bottom of the second, put the Robins on top, 3-0.
"I felt we were ready to go," said Brooklyn manager Rubén Vargas. "Our pregame was pretty good."
