Riding the 2-hit performance of the 33-year old center fielder Lao Kum, the Moscow Thunder Bears stopped the Johannesburg Gold, 7-2. Eric Buckson notched his 3rd save in 4 chances. With the win, Moscow upped its record to 47-41.

Making an impact for Moscow was left fielder Godofredo Chucha. The Sanger drilled a run-scoring double off Chiah-jen Xú in the bottom of the fifth. For the game, Chucha was 2-4 with a double and a walk.
