Thunder Bears Get Past London, 1-0
|
London pitcher Luca Maundrell gave the Thunder Bears all they could handle, but in the end, Moscow left Bears Den with a win, 1-0. Maundrell allowed no runs on 1 hit over 7.1 innings. Moscow now has a record of 37-36 with the win.
The Thunder Bears got a clutch hit from left fielder Godofredo Chucha. In the bottom of the ninth, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Thunder Bears.
"It's great when the crowd goes berserk," Chucha said.
