The Moscow Thunder Bears earned a win at Bears Den, knocking off the London Monarchs, 5-3. On the bump for Moscow was right-hander EwungaGoiba Ghera. He had a starring role in the triumph. To call the performance of the 2061 Monarchs disappointing is an understatement.

In the bottom of the third, 35-year old first baseman Maximilian Nielsson hit a 2-run single to center. The single, which was hit off of Motka Beteev, gave Moscow a 4-1 lead.

When asked about his performance after the game, Nielsson said: "Like everyone else, I'm just doing my job."
