The Moscow Thunder Bears downed the London Monarchs, 9-7, at London Stadium. Rajko Lovre led the way, going 1-for-2 for Moscow. EwungaGoiba Ghera, who finished 3rd in the GBC in strikeouts with 164 in 2060, was the winning pitcher. Over 6 innings, he allowed 3 runs on 6 hits, with 3 walks and 2 strikeouts. Riyadi Subandrio notched his 5th save of the season.

With Moscow leading 7-3 in the top of the eighth, Lovre came up to bat against London pitcher Snicker O'Connolly. Lovre hit a slider to right-center for a 2-run home run. His 3rd home run of the season put the Thunder Bears on top, 9-3.

"This is a great group to be a part of, and it's a big win for us," Lovre told the Moscow Times.
