The future looks extremely bright for Charlie Cross. At the age of 20, many players are still trying to find their way in College Conference All-Stars.
Cross has not only found his way, he's already established himself as one of the game's brightest stars, today being named the winner of the Mellon League Bo Jordan Batter Award.
"I didn't expect to hit .401 this year, that's for sure," the first baseman said.
The Best Buy Geek Squad star also put up a .505 on-base percentage this year, with 73 hits, 6 doubles, no triples, 27 home runs, 66 RBIs and 47 runs scored.
He received 32 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Dan Chambers of the U.S. Marine Corps Fighting Leathernecks finished second in voting, while Bill Nesbitt of the Burger King Whoppers finished third.
