Yi Chosen 2172 SAN Outstanding Hitter Award Friday, April 16th , 2173 He may have less experience than most of his Class SA League peers, but that didn't slow Eun-bum Yi down at all in 2172. At the age of 21, the Albuquerque third baseman has been named the winner of the SA North Outstanding Hitter Award. He had a .311 batting average and a .394 on-base percentage this year. In 84 games he piled up 102 hits, 20 doubles, no triples, 19 home runs, 63 RBIs and 62 runs scored. "I'm blown away by the season I was able to put together," he said. "I'm looking forward to trying to do it all again next year." He received 15 first place votes out of a possible 30.
