Bond: Big Hit in the SA North Monday, August 22nd , 2129 Todd Bond is respected by most Aberdeen Ironbirds fans for his no-frills style of play. The 24-year-old right fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the SA North Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .478 average (11-for-23) with 3 home runs, 10 RBIs and 5 runs scored. For the season Bond has hit .272 with 8 home runs and 31 RBIs. He has played in 49 games and scored 18 times. |
