Clinton-Palm Beach Free-for-All Gets 3-Game Suspensions Tuesday, June 8th , 2145 A bench-clearing brawl marred the Clinton-Palm Beach game at Alliant Energy Field yesterday and resulted in two players being suspended today by the league office. The LumberKings Kevin Thomas and the Cardinals Joe Hamm were ejected from the game for fighting. Both players will have to sit out 3 games. For this year Thomas has chalked up 1 win and 9 losses in 12 starts with 23 strikeouts in 61.2 innings and a 4.38 ERA. So far this season Hamm has 8 saves in 19 relief appearances with a 2-1 record and 1.80 ERA. |
