Bad Behavior Costs Figueroa and Estrada
Thursday, August 9th, 2125
Eduardo Figueroa of the Augusta Greenjackets and Héctor Estrada of the Lynchburg Hillcats will be on the sidelines for a few days. They have been suspended for 4 and 6 games respectively by the league office for causing the bench-emptying free-for-all at the recent Greenjackets-Hillcats game at Lake Olmstead Stadium.
Neither player had any comment about the suspensions. Both clubs told BNN Figueroa and Estrada will begin serving them soon.
For the year Figueroa is hitting .145 with 12 home runs. His stats include 34 RBI and 29 runs scored.
To this point in the season, Estrada shows a 1-12 record, 11 starts, 73.1 innings, 46 strikeouts and a 13.01 ERA.
