Odyssey Martínez Suspended 2 Games Wednesday, August 5th , 2167 In Parsons the Odyssey got the news of Gustavo Martínez's 2-game suspension. The 29-year-old second baseman appeared to make contact with an umpire while arguing balls and strikes during yesterday's game against the Padres. Martínez told reporters that he did not grab anybody. "It is one thing to throw me out of the game for arguing, but that is not enough to kick me out for 2 games."
