Poliskin Hurls No-Hitter Against Suns
In a dominant outing, Larry Poliskin of the Madison Mavericks totally silenced the bats of the Jacksonville Suns, finishing with a no-hitter.

In the 3-0 victory, Poliskin faced only 30 batters, surrendered no hits, had 8 strikeouts and 2 walks.

"Honestly, I didn't even know the situation was what it was until the seventh inning," Madison manager said. "I happened to look up there to see how many hits we had gotten, and I happened to notice that they hadn't gotten any."

Commenting on the defeat, losing manager had a "pretty simple" analysis of the game.

"The Mavericks had all the hits and all the runs, so they won," he snapped. "But yeah, Poliskin pitched a heck of a ballgame."

To date Poliskin is 4-1 in 8 starts with a 2.72 ERA and has 59 strikeouts in 56.1 innings.
