Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Lakewood's 6-3 win over Lake Elsinore today, center fielder Mathew Day was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at First Energy Park.

"To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Day said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close."

Mathew Day doubled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and singled in the 7th.
