 | Benítez Sizzles, Niceville Fizzles Thursday, December 19th, 2041 St. Augustine Wolves hurler Lyle Benítez was stingy with runs in his latest outing against the Niceville Pikemen, shutting them out 16-0 on 5 hits. "Lyle was very aggressive tonight," St. Augustine manager Dale Wood said. "He threw everything he had with a lot of confidence." Through 9 innings, Benítez tallied 7 strikeouts and allowed 2 walks. "He was throwing strikes with all his pitches and mixing it up well," losing manager said. "Benítez has a sneaky fastball, and whatever that off-speed pitch was, it was keeping our timing off."
