Yarlagadda Cracks 3 HRs for Madras College Tuesday, March 11th , 2059 The old superstition that "bad news comes in threes" certainly came true for the Xian College Pipers. Madras College center fielder Anjali Yarlagadda tripled up on the home runs to propel the Salmon Kings to a win, 15-1, at Madras College Grounds. "We had our chances to win the game, but we just didn't come through," Xian College manager Markko Hemmila said. "Yarlagadda hit the heck out of the ball." In addition to the homers, Yarlagadda collected 5 hits in 5 at-bats, 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. "Easy swings get you home runs," he said after the game. "I kept telling myself not to press. They have to be nice and easy swings." Anjali Yarlagadda hit a solo-shot off Mei-shio Yong in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Mei-shio Yong in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Isacco Macaluso in the 4th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
