CBL's Best Hurler is Saleem Sunday, September 8th , 2058 Chinese Baseball League hitters didn't have much of a chance in the 2058 season when the Tianjin manager wrote "Abdul-Muhaimin Saleem" on the lineup card. Outing after outing, he held teams in check and usually got a win. He excelled with a 11-0 mark and 0.69 ERA in 12 starts, tossed 103.2 innings, fanned 114 and held opposing teams to a .152 average. For his superb season Saleem was today named the CBL Pitcher of the Year Award winner. He received 5 first place votes out of a possible 8. Sotaro Abe of the Tianjin Brigands finished second in voting with 3 first place votes, while Tenho Toivenen of the Tianjin Brigands finished third.
