Danshui's Chauhan CBL #1 Batter in July Thursday, August 1st , 2058 Mehmud Chauhan is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Danshui right fielder joined that select company when the Chinese Baseball League announced the results of July's voting. Chauhan totaled 30 hits, 20 walks, 5 home runs, 13 RBIs and 25 runs scored last month to put together a .319 batting average and .443 on-base percentage. This year Chauhan is hitting .330 with 7 home runs. |
