Koi Fish No Match for Gonzáles, Chippers in 11-0 Thumping Wednesday, July 24th , 2058 Marcos Gonzáles kept the opposition off the scoreboard and the Changchun Chippers were all smiles after winning 11-0 against the Taiwan Koi Fish at New Taipei Field today. The right-handed Gonzáles gave up no runs in his start, permitted 8 hits and had 6 strikeouts. "If there was a stat for 'team shutout,' this would be it," Gonzáles said later. "My catcher called a great game, guys delivered at the plate and when I messed something up the guys behind me were where they needed to be."
