Red Stixx Not Competitive in 7-0 Loss to Tianjin Sunday, July 21st , 2058 Sotaro Abe of the Tianjin Brigands was masterful today, pitching a 2-hit shutout, 7-0, against the Danshui Red Stixx. By going the distance, he was at the same time able to give his bullpen a rest, a fact appreciated by Tianjin manager Jorge Cruz. "It's nice to have someone who can do that from time to time," he said. "He had command of every ball and every pitch. Great location, too." Abe had 10 strikeouts and 1 walk in the outing.
