Stallions End Bayi's Streak Tuesday, July 12th , 2050 Saulo Bayi of the Chinese Taipei Baseball Team came up empty at the plate today and went hitless in 4 at-bats for the first time in 20 games. Making matters even worse for the center fielder, Chinese Taipei dropped the game to the Chongqing Stallions 4-2. "It was not a good day today," Bayi told the press in postgame comments. "We lost the game and the streak is over." Bayi is hitting .449 for the season with 12 home runs, 49 RBIs and 43 runs scored. He has 61 hits in 136 at-bats and played in 33 games. |
