Bayi Hits in 20 Consecutive Games Monday, July 11th , 2050 The Chinese Taipei Baseball Team fell to the Chongqing Stallions in Stallions Ballpark today, even as 20-year-old center fielder Saulo Bayi upped his consecutive-game hitting streak to 20 games. Bayi finished with 1 hit in 3 at-bats, but could not stop the Baseball Team from dropping the 15-8 decision. "Yeah, I kept my streak going, but it would have been better to come away with a win," said Bayi. Saulo Bayi grounded out in the 1st, walked in a run in the 2nd, struck out in the 4th and singled in the 5th. This season Bayi is batting .462 with 12 home runs. He has scored 43 runs and driven in 49. |
