Gómez Gets 5 Hits Friday, July 1st , 2050 It was high-fives all around for Juan Gómez at Stallions Ballpark today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Shenyang Water Pigs. Gómez smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 14-4 win. "Juan was hitting everything," said Stallions manager Hanif bin Mu'ayyad. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Water Pigs manager Raúl Gonzáles told BNN beat writers that Gómez "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Gómez oversleeps next time."
