Saturday, October 8th , 2050
The manager of the Santa Cruz Serpientes said he thinks Andrew MacIlvain is only going to get better as he gets older.

He may only be 24, but it will be hard to top the right fielder's 2050 campaign, as he has been named the winner of the South America Baseball League Most Valuable Player Award.

His winning campaign featured a .292 batting average and a .386 on-base percentage this year. In 130 games he piled up 143 hits, 28 doubles, 2 triples, 41 home runs, 118 RBIs and 99 runs scored.

He received 10 first place votes, as a unanimous winner. Sam Cop of the Santa Cruz Serpientes finished second in voting, while Marcos Castillo of the Buenos Aires Brisas finished third.
