SABL Champs Crowned: Santa Cruz Serpientes Thursday, September 1st , 2050 Santa Cruz Serpientes fans have reason to celebrate today, as their franchise is the class of the SABL. With their record standing at 88-48, the club officially wrapped up the division title today, for the 1st time. Manager Deegan Bouffler said everyone on their roster is looking forward to the postseason and trying to capture the club's 1st championship. "That's what you dream about your whole life," Bouffler said. Right Fielder Andrew MacIlvain added that it's a great feeling to win the division, but said ultimately, a Round 2 victory is what will mark success for the club. |
