 | Year Ends for Horst Fass in Montevideo Thursday, August 18th, 2044 The season is finished for Horst Fass of the Montevideo Leones. The club announced today that he will forego the rest of the year because of injury. The Leones right fielder suffered a broken hand while running the bases in a recent game against the Rio de Janiero Sun Kings. Team doctors said it would take at least 4-5 months to heal. For the season Fass is currently batting .349 with 2 home runs and 45 RBIs. In 103 games he has reached base at a .392 rate and scored 65 runs to date. |   |
