Sun Kings Heading to Round 2 Saturday, February 23rd , 2058 The Round 1 may not have lived up to the expectation that it would be a dogfight that would go the distance. The Tarawa Sun Kings, however, are not complaining. The Sun Kings were plenty happy to have wrapped up the series early and to have knocked out the Weno Crush to advance to the Round 2. Tarawa won the final game by a 4-3 count at Bombay HS Grounds and the series 4-2. Sun Kings center fielder Walenekino NiniManu was named series MVP, as he hit .421 with a .593 on-base percentage. He added 2 home runs, drove in 4 RBI and scored 7 runs. "It's not going to be the last time Weno makes it to the playoffs, so it's sure a nice feeling to put them out this year," NiniManu said. "We just need to keep this going and take it day by day." The Tarawa Sun Kings don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Majuro Bruins - Port Moresby Seahawks series. Port Moresby leads the series 3 games to 2. The Round 2 schedule will be announced after the Round 1 finishes.
