Warriors Come up Short of Playoffs Thursday, February 14th , 2058 The Auckland Warriors may feel they were as good as the playoff teams this year, but the club has ultimately fallen short of qualifying and will watch the postseason from the sidelines. "It's frustrating because we really feel like we could have given any of the teams a run for their money," said starting pitcher Bryce Powell. The Warriors have made the playoffs 9 times in their 21 years as a Oceania Baseball Academy franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 2nd in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2056. In the last 10 seasons, the Warriors have missed the playoffs 4 times. |
