Conference 2 Division 2 Won: Wellington Crowned Wednesday, February 13th , 2058 While it remains to be seen what the playoffs will bring for the Wellington Water Wolves, the club took the first step by clinching the Conference 2 Division 2 title. "It's exactly where we wanted to be and where we talked about being during spring training," said catcher Brock Ross. "There's not a guy in the room that doesn't believe in this team. We're all pulling in the same direction right now." It was the team's 5th division title and they will attempt to capture the franchise's 1st Oceania Baseball Academy championship. "The end goal hasn't changed - win the Round 3," said manager Chad Sandoval. "We think we've got the team to do it." |
