Sun Kings Prevail, as Round 2 Goes to the Wire Thursday, March 8th , 2057 The Tarawa Sun Kings are heading to the Round 3, having narrowly defeated the Sydney Devil Bears. Tarawa edged Sydney in the series 4-3, with a win at Bears Ballpark in the clinching game by a 6-2 margin. Ainalani Heremano turned in a strong offensive performance for the Sun Kings and got series MVP for his efforts. "I'll never turn down another trophy for my mantle, another accomplishment to remember once my career is over," he said. "What I would really remember, though, is a Round 3 win." It remains to be seen how the playoffs will conclude, but if Heremano continues to swing a hot bat, his team will no doubt have a chance. For the series, he hit .292 with a .419 on-base percentage. He had 3 home runs, 9 RBI and scored 6 runs. The Tarawa Sun Kings will play against the Honiara Islanders in the next round. Honiara won their series against the Koror Checkers 4 games to 1.
