Gymea Parks 3 for Koror Saturday, February 10th , 2057 Fans are still buzzing after Koror whipped the Brisbane Beacons by the score of 13-6 today at The Beacon. Uata Gymea smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the left fielder bashed out 3 hits in 6 at-bats, had 7 RBIs and scored 3 times. At the postgame press conference, Gymea said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game. "Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Gymea said. "Three is just... wow." Uata Gymea struck out in the 1st, flied out in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Daniel Vankrimpen in the 5th, flied out in the 6th, hit a three-run home run off Patrick Dempsey in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Cody Schwer in the 9th. This year Gymea has hit at a .233 clip with 19 RBIs, 5 home runs and 18 runs scored. |
