Cobanoglu Shines, Shuts Out Ulaanbaatar, 9-0 Thursday, September 12th , 2058 The Ulaanbaatar Battalion struggled at the plate today against Catbirds hurler Polat Cobanoglu, who shackled them on 4 hits while hurling a complete game 9-0 shutout. "What can you say? We didn't hit well," said Battalion skipper Jarno de Braber in postgame comments. "Hopefully we shake this off and bounce back tomorrow." Cobanoglu finished the game with 4 strikeouts and 2 walks in an excellent mound performance. "He pitched real well," Shanghai manager Tiljad Mwarania said. "Polat made pitches when he had to.
