Maher Leads Shanghai to 4-0 Win Over Hokkaido Monday, September 9th , 2058 Eddie Maher spun his magic in a 4-0 shutout victory at The Nest today, leading the Shanghai Catbirds to victory, 4-0 over the Hokkaido Huskies. The Shanghai pitcher put quite a spell on Hokkaido in a strong performance, allowing 3 hits while totaling 2 walks and 10 strikeouts. "I had a lot of good things working in this one," Maher said. "I worked both sides of the plate. I was rarely behind in the count." This year Maher has earned no saves, worked 184.1 innings, fanned 187 hitters and recorded a 2.20 ERA.
