Castillo Torches Magic for 5 Hits Sunday, September 1st , 2058 The Ulaanbaatar Battalion stopped the Tokyo Magic by a score of 10-9 at Juwayya Grounds today, with the lion's share of the credit going to first baseman Marcos Castillo. The 32-year-old had a career day, collecting 5 hits. "Every batter wants to have a quality at-bat every time he steps up to the plate," Castillo said later. "He wants to hit the ball hard." Castillo did just that in his 7 at-bats, much to the chagrin of the Magic. "Not much that I can say," offered Tokyo manager Shoiab Kardar. "He just hammered the heck out of us." Marcos Castillo hit an RBI single in the 7th, hit a three-run triple in the 8th, singled in the 9th, flied out in the 11th, grounded out in the 12th, singled in the 15th and singled in the 17th.
