Ball Goes Cycling Monday, August 19th , 2058 It was a special day for Calvin Ball at Mystic Palace today. Not only did Ball's Tokyo Magic beat the Hokkaido Huskies 19-3, but the left fielder hit for the cycle along the way. The 23-year-old Ball racked up 2 singles, 1 double, 1 triple and 1 home run to get his name in the record books. For the game, he went 5-for-6 with 7 runs batted in and 5 runs scored. "He hit everything we threw," said Huskies manager Jesús Cabral. "There was just no getting him out today." Speaking to the press after the game, Ball said his goal for the day had been to look for "first pitch fastballs." "I got some good looks today," he said. Calvin Ball hit a two-run double in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a two-run triple in the 4th, hit a three-run home run off Jim Unknown in the 5th, singled in the 7th and grounded out in the 8th.
