5-for-5 Game for Ezna Friday, July 19th , 2058 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Alan Ezna today -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Zarnesti Grounds and paced the Catbirds to a 15-0 win over the Jakarta Wet Sox. After his dynamite batting performance, the Shanghai shortstop told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 5 tries and put his name in the record book. Alan Ezna walked in a run in the 1st, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, doubled in the 6th, singled in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th.
