5-Hit Barrage by Castro Sunday, June 30th , 2058 It was high-fives all around for Fernando Castro at Field of the Prairie Dogs today. He got them from his teammates and he got them at the plate during an outstanding hitting performance against the Hokkaido Huskies. Castro smashed 5 hits in 5 at-bats on his monster day, leading his club to a 9-8 win. "Fernando was hitting everything," said Explorers manager Alonso Velazco. "It really was a special game for him." In the opposing dugout, Huskies manager Jesús Cabral told BNN beat writers that Castro "ambushed" the club. "Obviously we didn't have much success against him, but we'll have another chance," the skipper said. "Hopefully, Castro oversleeps next time."
