July's Premier Batter Announced Monday, August 1st , 2050 Shouket Osmani is not used to being associated with Batter of the Month-caliber players, but today the Manila left fielder joined that select company when the Far East Baseball League announced the results of July's voting. Osmani totaled 45 hits, 11 walks, 3 home runs, 25 RBIs and 19 runs scored last month to put together a .441 batting average and .483 on-base percentage. This season Osmani is hitting .397 with 7 home runs. |
