Far East Baseball League Names Osmani Best Batter Monday, August 1st , 2050 Shouket Osmani of the Manila Buccaneers was locked in all week as he bullied the pitchers he faced. Osmani put up some great numbers and hauled in the Far East Baseball League Player of the Week trophy. He hit .526 with 1 home run and 5 RBIs. The 20-year-old left fielder also scored 4 runs and for the week went 10-for-19. This season Osmani is swinging the bat at a .397 rate with 100 hits in 252 at-bats. To date he has hit 7 home runs, scored 47 runs and driven in 52. |
