Schmid Goes on Rampage Against Barons Wednesday, May 24th , 2062 It was a parade of hits for Brent Schmid of the Bloemfontein Cats at Ballpark of Ndali. Connecting almost every time he went to the plate, Schmid finished the day with a total of 5 hits in 5 at-bats. His strong individual effort propelled the Cats to a win, 18-8. "Schmid was really good and we were really bad," groaned Barons manager Joe Holywood. "Next time he's that hot, we'll just walk him." Brent Schmid walked in the 2nd, doubled in the 3rd, hit an RBI single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, hit an RBI double in the 7th and singled in the 9th.
